CLIENT SERVICES ASSOCIATE
(Stratford, CT)

THE OPPORTUNITY & WHAT YOU'LL DO

This role is firmly centered around Client Services and Administrative Support.  You will also gain direct exposure to multiple facets of the business:

  • Act as the initial point of contact for our clients and provide exceptional service. You will handle inbound/outbound communications (calls, emails, texts, faxes), manage schedules, process documents, and ensure accurate data entry into internal systems.

  • Build positive relationships with clients and help them resolve issues with insurance carriers, and provide an empathetic, human-to-human experience.

  • Learn all of our internal systems and technologies to ensure all client interactions are accurately and compliantly documented.

  • Work side-by-side with our licensed agents to ensure they have everything they need to deliver exceptional client consultations.

  • You will also spend time in other departments to learn the various parts of the business.  You will be exposed to marketing, operations, and technology.

WHO YOU ARE & WHAT YOU BRING

Externally, your demeanor is warm, empathetic, friendly, and dependable.  Internally, you thrive on being sharp, deeply curious, highly organized, you are mission driven, and you are looking to learn how a modern business actually operates.

Required:

  • Be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or employer participation in an immigration-related work authorization process, now or in the future.

  • Exceptional communication skills; you enjoy interacting with people and have a natural capacity for empathy and kindness.

  • You are a naturally organized person. You pay attention to details others miss , love ticking boxes off a checklist, and take pride in being precise.

  • A strong work ethic and a "no task is too small" ownership mentality.

  • Technology systems don't intimidate you.  With training, you can thrive in a paper-light, tech-driven environment.

  • Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office

Preferred (but not required):

  • Prior experience in customer-interfacing roles (i.e. other insurance agencies, hospitality, retail, banking, healthcare).

  • Fast keyboard typing skills

  • Familiarity with Apple hardware/OS, modern CRMs, and foundational AI Models (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, etc).

  • Ability to speak other languages (i.e. Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, or others) are a huge asset.

Note: If you believe you’re a fit for this role, but don’t meet our preferred qualifications, we still encourage you to apply. While our hard requirements are non-negotiable, we’re otherwise open-minded, and don’t need you to be the “perfect” candidate on paper

WHERE CAN YOUR CAREER GO?

This role can be a launching pad into other areas within the business.  These can include:

  • Licensed Advisory: Become a Licensed Producer (agent) and delve even deeper into your client services journey

  • Management: Build and manage a team of Client Services Associates

  • Operations & Technology Management: Help design the systems and infrastructure that make up foundation of the business

  • Digital Marketing & Growth Operations: Develop marketing campaigns, social media strategies, referral programs, etc.

  • Something else? As you grow, perhaps a completely different role emerges that is best suited to your skillset

The door is wide open if you're ready to walk through it.

WHAT TO KNOW GOING IN

  • We currently operate out of a home-based office in a residential area. We are actively scouting a fully dedicated commercial office in the surrounding area and plan to transition in the near future, but for now, this setup is entirely by design. It is lean, quiet, and intentionally structured to support deep work and close collaboration. While the current workspace is located within a residential property, it functions as a completely separate, fully equipped professional environment occupying an entire floor. If you thrive in fast-moving, purpose-driven settings, you'll feel right at home. We realize, however, that this isn't for everyone, and that's okay.

  • We're a small, growing company, where things move fast, change often, and sometimes feel messy. You have to be someone who can thrive in ambiguity, solve problems as they come, and stay focused.
